Please join WPNA’s Zoning Committee for a public meeting to solicit community feedback for the following application:
2435 W. Passyunk Avenue
Application for demolition of all existing structures on lot and the erection of a one story structure & canopy above a fueling island for use as automobile fueling station with accessory retail sale of groceries with prep & serving of food for takeout; For the erection of one double sided freestanding sign & for the creation of six off-street parking spaces (including zero handicap spaces).
Refusal was on the grounds that automobile service station with take-out food is prohibited in Passyunk Ave; special controls district; proposal does not include required handicap space; the required 6’W X 6’H screening along residential lines is not included in proposal.
When: Wednesday, April 3, 7:00pm
Where: 1st District Police Station, 2301 S 24th St. (between Wolf & Ritner)
PLEASE NOTE: WPNA Zoning Meetings will be held the 4th Thursday of every month at 1st District Police Station at 7:00pm.
