West Passyunk / Newbold / Girard Estate Spring Tree Planting, Saturday April 26th, 2014

Come out and help plant trees on Saturday, April 26th, 2014. We will be meeting at 9:00am at The Girard Elementary School, front yard. There are a total of 14 trees to be planted. We will break into groups and it should take around two hours.

New improved Tree Applications are available online at PHS.org

The final due date for the Fall applications is Monday, May 5, 2014

Getting to WPNA's neighborhoods from Center City is a snap! It's convenient by subway, bus, cab or car. Take the Broad Street Subway southbound from any Center City station to the Snyder Street stop. The 2 bus runs south on 17th Street and back north towards Center City on 16th Street. The 17 bus runs south on 19th Street from Old City and back north on 20th Street to Market and back to Front. The 7 bus runs from the Fairmount District down 23rd Street to Passyunk Avenue and back down 22nd Street. Cab fare from Center City will run around $10 one way. If you drive, don't worry about parking - it is plentiful on the street and most places it is FREE!
